About Us

Rockaway Market Street is Rockaway’s first outdoor marketplace. Located under the El off the Beach 60th subway stop, Rockaway Market Street supports regional farmers and vendors with opportunities to sell their produce, homemade food products, baked goods, and locally made crafts and products to the general public.

The 2023 market season takes place every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., June 10th to October 7th, and also features live music from local artists, food sampling, and related activities.

Our Mission

As part of Wellness Way Initiative, the market takes place under the “El” by the Beach 60th Street “A” line subway station, and serves as a community event that brings vibrancy to the neighborhood while supporting the health and wellness of the Rockaway community.
